If you can dream it up, I’ll find a way to capture it: I’m a photographic problem solver.

I’ve hung off the sides of buildings, learned to dive on a shoot, and set more things on fire than I want to remember. No one got hurt, and we always came home with solid images.

I’ve spent the longest part of my career making movie posters. My work has been seen around the world, and has never had my name on it. This work has given me the opportunity to shoot an amazing variety of people and things with budgets that ranged from pennies to hundreds of thousands, usually with little time to plan.

My wife says I have an unhealthy obsession with bicycles. I own too many and still want more. That obsession allowed me to spend time helping Angelenos learn to fix their own bikes as a volunteer at a bike coop. I met so many fascinating people that I never would have encountered any other way. It was an amazing way to help build a community.

My favorite kind of adventure is to go and get lost. Some of my memorable experiences have involved just picking a direction and letting the world unfold around me. I once made a great friend on the streets of Havana. He wanted to warn me that it might be dangerous to walk around with a big camera in the middle of the night. I learned more about the revolution from him than any history book. That’s a whole other story, maybe you’ll hear it someday.

Give me a call, let's figure out how to get the images that you need.
